Commercial Refrigeration Equipment

BGE offers incentives on commercial refrigeration equipment, including equipment upgrades and new equipment purchases. This program focuses on common, easy to install equipment that yields significant energy savings. These refrigeration measures are particularly cost-effective for businesses such as restaurants, convenience stores, and grocery stores. Applications covered in this program include: anti-sweat heat controls, reach-in door closers, strip curtains for walk-in freezers, Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) evaporator fan motor, LED lighting in reach-in freezer or cooler case, occupancy sensors for lighting in reach-in cases, and vending machine sensors.
