The BGE Smart Energy Savers ProgramSM is launching a dynamic new lighting program tailored to help small business owners such as delis, dry cleaners, convenience stores, florists and cafés use energy more efficiently. When you decide to upgrade your existing lighting fixtures and controls, your business can receive:

  • Full turnkey service to help you make energy efficiency part of your long-term business plan
  • A free energy analysis and easy-to-follow recommendations for improving energy efficiency
  • Get 80 percent off the total cost for most energy efficiency lighting retrofit projects (materials, labor, and recycling)

Participating in BGE’s Small Business Lighting Solutions program is easy. To enroll, you must:

  • Be a non-residential BGE customer (there are other programs in which you may participate on behalf of your residential account)
  • Use 60kW or less electricity a month (Rate Schedule G and GS)
  • Use the approved program contractor, for your area, who will develop a lighting solution customized to your business:
